Invitation to participate in the International Conference on the 100th Anniversary of the Institute of Geological Sciences
Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine invites you to
participate in the International conference «GEOLOGICAL SCIENCE WEEK» dedicated to the 100th
anniversary of the Institute, which will be held on May 19-21, 2026.
Location: IGS NASU, 55-b O. Gonchara St., Kyiv.
Form of participation: in-person or online.
Format of presentations: oral or poster.
Languages: Ukrainian, English.
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
A book of abstracts will be published based on the results of the conference.
CONFERENCE TOPICS:
1. Geological chronicle: stratigraphy, paleontology, sedimentology.
2. Mineral resources: formation, prospects, global challenges.
3. Resilience and safety of the geological environment during wartime: groundwater, technogenic-
geological systems, and restoration.
4. Earth System Science: innovative methods and interdisciplinary approaches.
To participate in the conference, please fill out the application form by May 1, 2026, and add an
abstract according to the template.
If you are submitting several abstracts, please fill out the application form for each abstract
submitted.
Clear, high-quality black-and-white drawings and tables should be inserted directly into the text.
Information regarding the approval of your application and the proposed format of the
presentation will be sent by May 15, 2026.
